International Finance Centre - West Tower
Wilkinson Eyre & Ove Arup & Partners
A 10 m high sculpture creates an artistic focal point to the forecourt of the West Tower.
The slimline, crystalline shape of the 438 m building has one of the tallest diagrid structures in the world. The resulting high degree of rigidity of the building structure withstands accelerations and swaying, minimising the need for damping the system.
At the washbasins in the sanitary facilities, the infrared, electronically controlled GROHE Europlus E faucets help to reduce water consumption and cut operating costs.
