A discovery trip from pole to pole
The distinctive architecture of the exhibition building was only made possible by the latest computer technology. Not one single pane of glass in the softly curved façade is identical. The internal concrete construction is surrounded by the outer envelope and the roof with its load-bearing aluminium construction. An advantage of separating the internal construction from the façade is that the circulation of the inside air and solar radiation are used for the ventilation and air conditioning of the building.
Environmentally friendly solutions with the highest standards of hygiene and uncompromising water consumption are also installed in the sanitary facilities. The infra-red controlled electronic GROHE Europlus E faucet dispenses water when it is needed. The GROHE Rapid SL installation systems for the rows of urinals are also operated touchfree using radar technology.
