The St. Regis Lhasa Resort
Tibet, China

Completion date 2010
Architects: Jean-Michel Gathy / Denniston International Architects

The light stone and the pagoda-style roofs covered with dark slate tiles draw on the traditional elements of the Tibetan architectural style.

The building complex situated at a height of 3600 metres on the “roof of the world” is the first luxury resort in Tibet. Its architecture blends in seamlessly with the complex urban structure of old Lhasa, skillfully combining traditional and exotic features of the Tibetan culture and landscape.

In the exquisite bathrooms of the resort, GROHE Atrio fittings for the basin, bath and shower, as well as GROHE Rainshower® showers, stand for high quality, stylish design, inimitable ease of use and a sensual water experience.
