Visit us at the ISH – the world´s biggest showcase for innovative bathroom design, energy efficient heating and air-conditioning technology and renewable energies. Experience the latest future-oriented water technologies.

Take part in our International Architecture Dialogue and get to know the vision of three internationally renowned architects on the subject:

Future Cities - Today’s Architecture Challenges

For the first time in human history, the majority of the world´s people live in cities; in 2050 it will be 80 % of the world´s population. Issues such as overpopulation, world hunger and the shortage of housing are exacerbated by a climate change-induced global water shortage. Lack of access to drinking water is one of the most critical challenges and the harsh reality for millions of people worldwide. What are the challenge in connection with architecture and water? How will resource-saving water technologies change our lives? How can innovative solutions help to turn challenges into opportunities? And what contribution can architecture make to create future homes and cities worth living in? Three internationally renowned architects will give their answers as to how they will deal with these challenges.

  • 7:00 p.m. Opening of the dialogue with Brian Girad, KPF, Benedetta Tagliabue, Miralles Tagliabue and Herwig Spiegl, AllesWirdGut
