The new museum building is wedged between historic buildings on the port island
The striking façade with its curved white steel panels, glass units and amorphous shapes is reminiscent of rocks surrounded by water and billowing sails. They make the museum appear light and transparent. The individual parts of the building are wedged between and coil around the existing warehouse buildings, without overpowering them.
The frequently used sanitary facilities are fitted with GROHE Europlus E faucets, which are particularly hygienic due to their touchfree operation, and GROHE Eurostyle faucets, which are smooth-operating and durable thanks to GROHE SilkMove® technology. The needs-driven supply of water from the GROHE Europlus E faucet satisfies not only the highest standards, it also enables the key resource of water to be used responsibly.
